Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated:In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, here is exactly how LinkedWriter makes money, and how that does or doesn't shape what we publish.
How we earn money
LinkedWriter is supported primarily through affiliate commissions. When you click certain links on this site and go on to sign up for or purchase a product, we may receive a commission from that company. This comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the company's site.
How this does not influence our rankings
Our policy is simple: a product earns its place in a ranking or review based on our own research and testing first. Whether or not we have an active affiliate relationship with a company has no bearing on whether we recommend it, or how favorably we describe it. Some tools reviewed on this site (for example, Claude) currently have no affiliate relationship with us at all, and are recommended purely because our research found them to be strong options.
We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review, a higher ranking, or removal of criticism. If we identify real drawbacks with a product during our research, we publish them — see the "Worth Knowing" section on every individual review page for an example of this in practice.
How we research
Our reviews are based on publicly available pricing pages, product documentation, changelogs, and independent third-party reviews (such as those on G2 and Reddit). We revisit and update our content on a rolling basis, and mark a "last verified" date on every review page, since pricing and features in this market change frequently.
